Building a Culture for Innovation

Organizations (profit or non-profit) are facing change like never before. Driving forces to this change include a rapidly expanding marketplace (globalization), and increasing competition, diversity among consumers, availability of and accessibility to new forms of technology and even a changing workplace culture. Creativity and innovation are keys to the success of a business. Leaders need not only to develop and enhance their skills and competencies on creative thinking, driving and managing innovation but moreso in building a culture that will encourage and sustain the mindset for innovation in their teams and organization. Such a mindset and environment of innovation will carry the organization through these waves of change to the shores of profitability, business continuity and growth. 

At the end of this workshop, the participants would have been able to:

  •  Understand and appreciate the need for a mindset of creative thinking and innovation
  •  Know and understand the driving and hindering forces for creative thinking and innovation
  • Develop and enhance skills on creative thinking and innovation
  • Understand and develop action steps to make the organization adaptive and adept in dealing with innovation
  • Prepare action steps to apply learned concepts in back-home situations
