Creating and Maintaining Balance in Life (Mindfulness in the Workplace)

Life is full of hassles, deadlines, frustrations, and demands. All these cause stress. For some people, stress is commonplace that it has become a way of life. Stress isn’t always bad. In small doses, it can help one perform under pressure and motivate one to do his best. However, when one is constantly running in emergency mode, mind and body pay the price. This workshop will enable the participant to gain an opportunity to look at and analyze how they recognize and manage stress in work and personal life. t will also give them a chance to map out effective processes and behavior change plans to enable them to achieve work-life balance.


OBJECTIVES At the end of the program, the participants will be able to:

 Know and accept the different forms of stress that are present in their work and personal life and their effect on productivity and efficiency

 Reduce distractions and achieve balance and renewal in life to avoid burnout and cycles of frustrations

 Apply and practice techniques that prevent harmful effects of stress

 Develop plans to map out effective processes and behavior change for work-life balance
