Course Description

Equip yourself with the skill of positive discipline in correcting employee performance problems and help achieve a positive turn-around in performance. Learn and apply the basic concepts behind “due process”, conducting a hearing and/or dialogue in the context of practicing positive discipline.

Course Objectives

At the end of the program participants will be able to:
– Reinforce their working knowledge of acceptable standards of behavior in the company
– Understand and appreciate the role of positive discipline in correcting employee performance problems and helping achieve a positive turn-around in performance
– Familiariaze themselves with the organization’s policies and procedures in implementing disciplinary action
– Understand and apply the basic concepts behind “due process” through case study analysis; and
– Practice the interpersonal communication skills necessary in conducting a hearing and/or dialogue/feedback in the context of practicing positive discipline.
