Course Description

This course is designed to give participants a working knowledge of the principles and proven practices of crisis management so that they are able to come up with their own crisis management and communication plans in their organization.

Course Objectives

At the end of the program participants will be able to:
– Be able to develop a crisis and communication plan based on the principles and concepts presented.
– Be able to identify the different kinds of crises and understand how these can be mitigated and avoided
– Understand the roles in an effective crisis management team
– Understand the ethics of crisis management and how these affect the responses of stakeholders
